In order to be a volunteer in the classroom you will need to attend a Bullying Policy Training, read and sign two documents about privacy and drug free school zones and then you are cleared to volunteer. Volunteers that will spend one-on-one time with students do need to have a background check. This would occur with our ESSC program and on some field trips. Please pick up paperwork for a background check at the SAU 13 office in Tamworth. How do I become a substitute? To substitute for any staff member in our school you must have a background check; attend Bully Policy Training, and sign two forms concerning privacy and drug free school zones. Once this is all complete, you are on the list. Please visit Kathy Barrett at the SAU 13 office in Tamworth to pick up the proper paperwork. When you are cleared, she will let us know.
