I think it is important to be respectful of everyone, adult and child at all times, even when you have differing opinions. As professionals, we need to take a deep breath and let go of the disagreements and still greet one another politely.
I agree we need to be professional and consider other's feelings.
I liked the t-shirt activity that pulled us together one day after school last year. I'd enjoy doing an activity such as that again. Please plan the activity at least a couple weeks in advance for everyone to be able to schedule it into their calendars if it's something of interest to them. Perhaps Laura could teach us how to make the adorable "book" pumpkins.
It is fun to get together and do fun projects and get away from the academics.
I agree with the first comment that we ALL have to be respectful of one another teacher and student. For staff to be able to do this they need to remember to go to the source. If they have an issue or concern about someone or with someone please go to that person and discuss it, don't go behind people's backs. Remember we are in this together, let's keep a united front as we have before.
Well said! We are an awesome staff and we need to support each other and show others our positive feelings with our feedback.
yes, let's think of activities that would be team builders- finding ways to get to know each other as people! Back to buckets? Any during the day ideas too?
I really enjoyed meeting in the new round house and making beads
while discussing community and what it means to each of us.
Maybe we should continue that conversation in the same setting.
Madison Universal Team would like to help our staff community. Please leave comments on how you feel we can all help make a better environment for all of us.
